The Mifflin Soaring Association is a central Pennsylvania gliding club emphasizing opportunities to soar the Appalachian ridges that extend from our area southwest as far as Tennessee and Alabama, and northeast into eastern Pennsylvania and New York.  A ridge flight from Mifflin may be a pleasant run along Jacks Mountain with views of the scenic Kish Valley, or a 1000+ km task that visits 4 or 5 states.

We are in SSA Region 2 and host an SSA-sanctioned soaring contest each year, typically in late May.  These have included many Regional competitions and numerous National Soaring championships.

The Mifflin Soaring Association was founded in 2009.  We are a qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
